The Ugedorakansan is located in the foothills of Nangairinzan, where you climb up from Bessyo Suigen.
Ugedorakansan has a hole with a remaining myth. According to the Aso Myth, ”Onihappoushi jumped the Kinihachiiwa and escaped from Takeiwatatsunomikoto because Kihachihoushi was attached with bows released by Aso Daimyojin and kicked them.”
This is a sightseeing spot where 18 stone statues including Syakanyoraizou and Kannonzoujyuurokurakan in a wind cave made by weathering effect.
In front of the Kannonzou, ”Takedakitiemoni Eisyou, August in Houei 4” was engraved, and it has been said that Mr. Takeda donated it.
We have parking space available. There is an starting point on the left side of ”Bessyo no Tsutsumi”, located on the south side of Takamori Chuo Elementary School. Please feel free to park your car there. walk approximately 860 meter and you can get there in about 20 minutes by walking.
