”Nojiri Kawakami Shrine” worships nine sets of remains of Yodohime Daishingai who was a younger sister of Empress Jingu.

In the precincts of the shrine， there is the Kosojyu (ginkgo tree) which was said to be more than 500 years old. This ginkgo tree stands as a male and a female pair ; thus， this has been said that the shrine has blessing of matchmaking. In addition， there is a tradition that touching a female ginkgo tree can make you produce a good amount of milk for babies.
