The Matsuriba Aso Jinjya is a shrine worshipping Takeiwatatsunomikoto. According to the legend， the load married the Asonomikotohime， a daughter of Hikoyainomikoto， when visiting the Askokuo from Yamashirokoku in February in Emperor Jinmu 76 year， and worshipped Aso deity.
